Volunteer
SMRA is an all volunteer organization dedicated to helping promote the country western way of life to the GLBT community while raising funds for our charity partners. SMRA is dependent on its members and volunteers to aid in this promotion of the country western way of life. Volunteers can server in any capacity large and small and do not have to be a local of the states of Tennessee or Kentucky to help with our volunteer efforts.
Among some of the volunteer efforts needed are:- Creating and sending out new and renwal membership cards
- Designing posters for upcoming events
- Selling shooters at fundraising events
- Maning a silent auction table at events
- Taking photographs at events
- Chairing one of our committees
- Soliciting sponsorships/donations
- Organizing membership events i.e.; trail rides, rodeo play days, etc.
- Teaching dance lessons at an SMRA rodeo night
